Role Summary
Would you like to join our established and dynamic research team?
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and set up in-patient and outpatient clinical research studies
* Assist with the submissions of studies to the required review bodies
* Respond to correspondence to obtain approval, and report changes and unanticipated problems involving patient care
* Assemble, complete and maintain the required regulatory documentation
* Ensure the study is conducted adhering to ICH and GCP guidelines, UK Clinical Trials Regulations, and the study protocol
* Attend Investigator meetings and set up meetings
* Identify and screen potential research participants
* Advise and support patients and their families when considering participation in a study
* Teach, advise and support medical and nursing staff about the studies so they can recruit, administer study drugs and care for study patients according to protocol requirements
* Ensure availability of clear and easy-to-follow study guidelines to keep staff workload manageable

Location and Team
The post is principally based at St Peters Hospital, with availability to work across sites as required.
