TSR Legal is delighted to be working with a leading law firm who are seeking a Court of Protection Paralegal to join their highly regarded Private Client team based in South Wales.
This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with an interest in Court of Protection work to develop their career within a supportive and well-established firm, working alongside experienced specialists on high-quality matters.
The Role
As a Court of Protection Paralegal, you will provide vital support to the Private Client team, assisting with a broad range of Court of Protection and related private client matters. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with Court of Protection applications and ongoing deputyship matters
* Supporting on matters relating to property and financial affairs
* Preparing documentation and correspondence for court submissions
* Liaising with clients, families, medical professionals, and third parties
* Assisting with Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Providing general private client and administrative support to the team
The Candidate
The firm is open to candidates from a variety of legal backgrounds; however, you will be able to demonstrate:
* A genuine interest in Court of Protection and private client law
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* The ability to manage a busy workload under supervision
* A professional, empathetic, and client-focused approach
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Previous experience in Court of Protection or private client work would be advantageous but is not essential.
