Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Sterile Services Department by providing positive support to senior and junior colleagues and visitors to the SSD.

Main duties of the job
To ensure that each instrument set received into the department are processed by following the pre-set procedures relating to the SSD.
In the absence of the Sterile Services Manager and Sterile Services Supervisor take overall responsibility for the production in the department and ensure the continuity of service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications And/or Knowledge
Essential criteria
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent level of knowledge or qualifications or equivalent experience

* Desire to work towards recognised NVQ's preferably acceptable to IDSc Standard
* Users Course WHTM 01
