Logistics Manager - £250m+ Major Construction Project
Location: Cardiff Contract Type: Long Term Contract Start Date: Within the next month Rate: £27 per hour
O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting an experienced Logistics Manager for our specialist logistics division. You will take full responsibility for all construction logistics management on a prestigious £250 million+ development site in Cardiff.
This is a high-profile, long-term contract opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of one of the largest construction projects in the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Full management and coordination of all site logistics operations including inbound/outbound deliveries, material storage & distribution, traffic management, and waste removal.
* Develop, implement and continuously improve logistics strategies and plans to ensure maximum efficiency and minimum disruption on site.
* Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors and project stakeholders.
* Lead and develop the on-site logistics team.
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards at all times.
Essential Requirements
* Multiple years’ proven experience as a Logistics Manager on major construction schemes (£50 million+ projects essential).
* Current CSCS card.
* SMSTS qualification.
* First Aid at Work certification.Additional relevant Logistics / Construction Management qualifications.
* Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
