We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a global engineering and manufacturing business at an exciting time of growth and innovation.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected organisation operating across multiple international manufacturing facilities, supporting the delivery of high-quality engineered products within a fast-paced production environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting detailed inspections, supporting quality assurance activities, and working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure products meet strict engineering and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T specifications
* Use a range of precision measuring equipment including Verniers, micrometres, gauges, CMMs, and FARO equipment
* Record and document inspection results accurately, raising non-conformances where required
* Support root cause investigations, CAPA activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Work closely with production teams to resolve quality concerns in real-time
* Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and audit-ready reports
* Support internal and external audit activities in line with ISO standards
* Contribute towards improving inspection methods, processes, and overall product quality
* Ensure compliance with company health & safety and quality procedures at all times
Requirements
* Previous experience within a Quality Inspection or Quality Assurance role within manufacturing or engineering environments
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
* Experience using precision inspection equipment and measuring tools
* Good understanding of ISO9001 standards (ISO14001 / ISO45001 advantageous)
* Experience supporting quality investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities
* Strong communication and documentation skills
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems
* Experience within HVAC systems or controls systems beneficial but not essential
