Description
Eagle Street Partners is a pan-European real estate investment and asset management firm, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Arrow Global Group, which manages €110 billion in assets across the real estate and credit sectors.
Eagle Street Partners, together with Arrow Global, operates as an opportunistic, value-add investor focused on creating and enhancing value through the repositioning, redevelopment, and active management of existing assets. The firm’s flexible and entrepreneurial approach enables it to pursue a diverse range of projects across multiple geographies, asset classes, and capital structures.
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and technically proficient Project/Development Manager to join our growing London-based team. The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle – from inception and acquisition through to delivery and completion.
These projects are often technically complex and operationally challenging, requiring deep expertise in design, engineering, planning, and execution. Success depends on a robust understanding of regulatory frameworks, policy requirements, and technical due diligence to navigate constraints, manage risk, and implement innovative solutions that unlock value and deliver sustainable, long-term returns for investors.
Working closely with the investment team, you will contribute to project underwriting by identifying technical risks and value creation opportunities, and by shaping robust business plans prior to transaction. Post-acquisition, you will lead the management of development and repositioning projects through active oversight of external consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders/partners.
The role requires strong technical and commercial acumen to ensure projects are delivered in line with business plan objectives, regulatory and policy requirements, and investor expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of complex projects across industrial, commercial, living, and retail sectors, ensuring alignment with investment objectives and business plans.
* Manage all stages of the project lifecycle — including feasibility analysis, technical due diligence, design development, planning and regulatory approvals, procurement, construction management, and handover.
* Oversee budgets, cashflows, and programming, maintaining rigorous cost control, programme management, and performance reporting to ensure commercial viability and project profitability.
* Direct and coordinate third-party teams, including consultants, contractors, and technical specialists, fostering collaboration and accountability throughout delivery.
* Engage effectively with internal teams (investment, finance, legal, compliance, ESG and asset management) and external stakeholders, including local authorities and statutory bodies.
* Ensure all projects adhere to statutory regulations, planning policies, building control standards, and sustainability requirements.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and commercial risks, proactively resolving issues to protect value and maintain momentum.
* Prepare regular progress reports for internal stakeholders.
* Support acquisition and underwriting activities through technical due diligence, feasibility inputs, and contributions to value-add strategies.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Real Estate, Engineering, or related discipline.
* Minimum 5–7 years PQE in property repositioning, development or project management, ideally within a consultancy or real estate investment environment with exposure to multiple sectors.
* Demonstrable track record in delivering complex refurbishment and repositioning projects from conception through completion.
* Strong technical and commercial acumen with an understanding of cost planning, programming and project economics.
* Thorough knowledge of planning, regulatory, and construction frameworks, including sustainability and compliance standards.
* Preferably has experience working with or alongside investment and asset management teams who have managed private equity capital (not essential).
* Excellent communication, reporting, leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and competing priorities.
* Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and other relevant project management tools.
