Overview
You will be trained to undertake skills including venepuncture, blood pressure monitoring, urine testing, and bladder scanning, and you will use these skills daily as well as training to work in enhanced procedure areas, working as support for registered practitioners.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with clinical procedures and maintaining standards of cleanliness in the outpatient setting.
* Manual handling of patients and equipment.
* Standing and walking for lengthy periods as part of the role.
Work Schedule
Shift start times are variable, from 07:30 onwards. The service is open six days a week, including evenings up to 20:00. To meet service demand, the ability to work flexible/variable shifts is essential.
Communication and Patient Interaction
We are looking for a colleague who can communicate effectively with a wide range of people, and applicants must be confident in keeping our patients updated with information.
