Curve is a leading producing theatre, creating compelling cultural experiences for all those who live, learn, visit and work in Leicester. Under the leadership of Chief Executive, Chris Stafford and Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, Curve is developing a reputation for producing, programming and touring a bold and diverse programme of musicals, plays, new work and dance. All of this is presented alongside a dynamic mix of community engagement and learning opportunities, which firmly places audiences and communities at the heart of everything we do. This role provides essential administrative support to Curve's Chief Executive. This will include supporting governance, diary and workload management, travel planning, minuting of meetings, as well as being the first point of contact for both internal and external queries coming into the Chief Executive's office. Alongside this, the role has primary responsibility for a number of essential functions, including the management of Curve's press nights and other VIP events and managing all customer feedback, ensuring responses are sent in a timely manner. No two days are the same, so the successful applicant will need to be flexible, adaptable and thrive in what can be a high-pressure environment. The ability to build good relationships internally and with external stakeholders is paramount. The successful applicant will have an active interest in the theatre industry. Your skillset will include a high level of computer literacy, excellent attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You will be a quick-thinker, capable of working autonomously, juggling numerous projects and deadlines and using your initiative to solve complex problems-all whilst keeping a level head.
