Are you an ambitious Civil Engineering Technician looking to develop your career with a civils led design consultancy in Wakefield? We are recruiting a Civil Technician on behalf of a well-established, growing consultancy that specialises in residential development design projects, covering:
* Drainage design (private and adoptable)
* Highways design (private and adoptable)
* External works and earthworks
You will play an important role in supporting engineers with the delivery of innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions for clients across the residential sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing detailed design drawings for drainage and highways schemes
* Working with engineers on designs for Section 38, 104, 278 agreements
* Producing technical drawings using AutoCAD
* Using Site 3D software (experience desirable but not essential - training will be provided)
* Supporting the preparation of engineering reports and documents
Civil Technician Requirements:
* Proven experience using AutoCAD in a civil engineering design environment
* Interest in residential development projects
* Knowledge of drainage and highways design principles (preferred)
* Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a consultancy team
* Enthusiastic to learn new software and skills (training provided for Site 3D)
