People Advice Manager / Senior Employee Relations Advisor / Employee Relations Manager
Location: High Wycombe (2/3 days per week on-site)
We're looking for an experienced People Advice Manager / Senior Employee Relations Advisor / Employee Relations Manager to join our People Team and play a key role in delivering a high‑quality, proactive HR advisory service. If you're confident handling complex ER matters, enjoy coaching others, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, this role offers the chance to make a real impact.
What You'll Do
* Act as deputy to the Head of People Advice and lead the team in their absence.
* Provide expert guidance on complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, and capability.
* Advise on high‑risk matters such as whistleblowing, settlement agreements, TUPE, redundancy, and tribunal preparation.
* Oversee the People Advice phone line, inbox, and business change requests.
* Build strong relationships with managers and leaders across the business.
* Analyse ER data to identify trends and support proactive interventions.
* Mentor People Advisors and support onboarding.
* Deliver ER training and contribute to policy development.
What You'll Bring
* CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
* Significant ER experience in a complex, fast‑paced organisation.
* Experience in a unionised environment.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
* Excellent coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* High emotional intelligence and sound judgement.
