Ask Jules is looking for a Personal Care Assistant for our client, who is a career professional based in the Peterborough/Cambridge area. Join a fantastic team of current Personal Care Assistants who provide personal care and assist with aspects of daily living.
Pay & Benefits
* Hours + Location: Holiday cover - 56 shifts per year (exact hours to be discussed prior to the interview)
* Family Holidays - 28 shifts per year when the client goes on family vacations
* Start Date: ASAP
* Pay Rate: £16.56 per hour
Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.
About Our Client
Our client is looking to recruit a Personal Care Assistant in the Peterborough/Cambridge area, to cover team members' holidays and support him with aspects of daily living. The client has a Spinal Cord Injury and will require support with personal care, clinical care, physiotherapy, and general tasks around his home, so driving will be essential for this role.
Prior care experience is not required as all training will be provided, but some experience is preferred.
About You
You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care; therefore, full training in his particular needs is provided.
You Will Need To Be
* Physically fit, calm, patient, and caring
* A confident driver with a full UK driving license and own vehicle, fluent in English
* Reliable and trustworthy
* A non-smoker
* Organized and able to work on your own initiative
* A positive individual with a good sense of humor
* A mature and responsible individual
* Excellent hearing and communication skills
* Clean and tidy in appearance and ways
* Have a valid passport
