My client is looking for an assistant editor to join the team that produces its suite of RadCom publications and manages its news desk.
The successful candidate will be involved in magazine production, sub-editing, writing articles, and planning content. You will be a core part of the editorial team, working closely with (and being managed by) the RadCom Managing Editor.

What will you be doing in the role?
Reporting to the Managing Editor, your responsibilities will include:
* Commissioning articles and liaising with authors
* Sub-editing copy from contributors and columnists
* Guiding the content of RadCom Basics and RadCom Plus supplements
* Participating in the creation of a weekly news script
* Addressing queries on technical and amateur radio licensing
* Developing the RadCom portfolio, including new media opportunities
What we would like from you:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is highly desirable
* Enthusiasm for technology and excellent command of English
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Knowledge of radio and electronics, including amateur radio, is desirable
