Smile Education is proudly supporting a specialist SEN school in Rowley Regis on their search for several Learning Support Practitioners to join their team from September. About the Role:
Full-time, long-term positions available across Year 7, Year 8, and Sixth Form
Work in small classes (max. 10 students) to provide tailored learning support
Support students with a range of additional and complex needs
Confidently deliver parts of the curriculum and develop small-group or 1:1 activities
Play a key role in behaviour management and helping students access learning
Be a valued member of a collaborative and supportive staff teamThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Recent experience working with students with SEND (e.g. ASD, SEMH, learning difficulties)
Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive, nurturing approach
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one via Smile Education)
Confidence in delivering curriculum content and adapting materials to meet individual needs
Commitment to working long-term and helping students reach their full potentialNext Steps:
