Stock Condition Surveyor - STAR Housing
Salary: £40,000-£43,000 (DOE)
Location: Ptarmigan House, Shrewsbury (with travel across STAR homes)
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours/week

What you'll do:
* Conduct detailed surveys and assess housing stock condition
* Ensure compliance with Decent Homes and HHSRS standards
* Diagnose building defects and recommend solutions
* Drive data integrity and support long-term asset management
* Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams for top-notch service
* Supervise contractors and ensure health & safety compliance
* Deliver Energy Performance Certificates and support planned maintenance
What you'll bring:
* HNC, NVQ3 or higher in a property-related subject (or equivalent experience)
* Hands-on experience with stock condition surveys
* Knowledge of housing legislation and energy efficiency standards
* Great communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
* Ability to travel and work flexibly
