Job Description:
As a sporting coordinator, you will be responsible for the operational and sporting coordination of the Junior World Rally Championship.
You will also support the organisation and development of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). This role offers the opportunity to play an active part in the strategic evolution of both championships and contribute to the excellence of the FIA rallying worldwide.
You will report to the WRC Category Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (ASNs, organisers, and WRC consultants).
* Manage championship registrations and monitor event registrations.
* Oversee the accreditation process for championships.
* Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all official championship documents.
* Identify and propose continuous improvements to enhance the quality and visibility of the WRC and JWRC.
Event support – JWRC (Max 6 events/year):
* Act as FIA Championship coordinator during JWRC events.
* Assess on-site conditions and services provided to JWRC competitors.
* Present detailed reports after each event.
* Serve as a liaison with all relevant stakeholders: ASNs, promoters, organisers, competitors, and officials.
Delegate coordination:
* Coordinate communication with FIA delegates and consultants.
Reporting:
* Collect reports from FIA officials (sporting, safety, media, and technical delegates).
* Assist in the preparation of WRC Commission meetings.
* Draft and follow-up on sporting regulations in accordance with WMSC decisions.
* Support FIA seminars and officials' summits organization.
Championship calendar management:
* Monitor and review calendar applications submitted by the ASNs.
Communication and website coordination:
* Ensure up-to-date championship information is published on fia.com.
* Update championship standings and classifications on the FIA website.
Profile:
* University degree, preferably in Sports Management or related field.
* Strong rallying knowledge is essential.
* Experience as a co-driver, team coordinator, or event organiser is an asset.
* Familiarity with FIA regulations.
* Understanding legal and governance frameworks is a plus.
* Fluency in English and French or Spanish.
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills; ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
* Proactive, helpful, team-oriented, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
