word, where our sites offer up to 30 activities from e-karting to augmented
reality bowling, and much more.
Our Gravity
Max brand is about to open our third site and we have fantastic growth plans.
We are leaders within the Active Entertainment industry, and to help us continue
to dominate the market we are now looking for a Head of Marketing to join the
brand.
What you’ll be doing…
You will oversee
everything Gravity Max. Reporting to our Sales and Marketing Director, you will
lead the way in taking our products to market. You will fully understand the customer
segmentation for the brand and will ensure this is embedded into all marketing decisions.
Each of our
Max sites have their own Marketing Executives who you will lead, grow, develop,
and mentor. You will also liaise with our head office support teams who are
here to assist you in delivering all on brand collateral and campaigns.
Your main Responsibilities:
Customer
and Market
· Lead the way in
taking new products to market.
· Fully understand
the customer segmentation for the brand you lead and ensure this is embedded
into all marketing decisions.
· Work closely with
the sales team to develop and deliver corporate and group leads.
Leadership
· Play a key role
in new site openings, travelling where needed.
· Lead the remote
site-based Marketing Executive Teams to deliver…travelling when needed.
· Grow, develop,
and mentor the site-based marketing teams to grow a talent pipeline.
· Manage cost lines
within the set budget, and feed information and insight into the budget build
process.
Brand
· Collaborate
across the business to ensure brand clarity, consistency, and guardianship
across all assets.
· Improve and
deliver the online presence of the Gravity brand.
Activity
· Lead in the
creation of new creative concepts across all channels.
· Lead the B2C
Marketing for the brand, engaging with the customer through targeted seasonal
campaigns and email.
· Manage the
website content, updates, new products, blogs and vlogs.
· Lead on the
planning and management of events for the brand.
· Work with the
designated agency to deliver SEO strategies for the website & improved
online presence.
· Understand
affiliate marketing & partnerships as a successful route to market.
· Have strong email
marketing experience to drive automations and broadcast mail through chosen
channels.
Communications
· Manage digital
marketing campaigns, including all creative aspects to bring the campaigns to
life.
· Lead a vibrant
organic social media growth for the brand.
· Be creative to
ensure high levels of customer engagement.
Reporting
· Understand
marketing and sales data, providing reports to the Marketing and Sales
Director, and making improvements for the future.
· Collate campaign
data to review the success and learnings for relevant marketing activity.
· Understand
customer demographics for each site using designated software.
About you
·
You will be degree
educated in a relevant subject with at least 5 years
working within a similar role. You will have experience in successfully taking a strong brand
to market to drive sales and ideally come from a similar leisure environment.

You will have great
experience managing and collaborating with agencies.
·
You will have a
proven track record of managing and developing a team below you and
will have a strong desire to create an internal talent pipeline.
· You
will have polished presentation skills and an aptitude for data to ensure the
correct key decisions are made.
·
Creativity is a must!
· Ideally experience within a leisure or hospitality business
would be desirable. As would the experience or working in a sale driven
environment.
Product Knowledge/IT Packages Experience
Essential
* Knowledge
of social media monitoring and scheduling tools (e.g. Sprout social,
Hootsuite).
* Google
Analytics.
* Email
marketing tools (e.g. Force24, Mailchimp, Dotmailer).
* Facebook,
Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
* Office
365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
