The service specialises in evidence-based neurodevelopmental assessments for autism and ADHD, delivered through both NHS-funded and private pathways.
As a permanent Clinical Psychologist, you will contribute to comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments, supporting timely and accurate diagnoses that lead to appropriate interventions and improved outcomes for families.

Key Responsibilities
* Conducting face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process
* Conducting remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via video consultation
* Participating in collaborative multidisciplinary diagnostic discussions, with senior clinical support where required
* Delivering clear, compassionate feedback to families
* Producing accurate, high-quality clinical reports, including diagnostic formulations, supported by digital tools
* Managing workload effectively to meet service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Providing clinical supervision (where applicable)
* Contributing to additional responsibilities aligned with experience and service needs, including:
o Clinical consultation
o Quality assurance of assessment reports
o Service development projects
* Ability to travel to a clinic base for in-person assessments (hybrid working model)

Essential Qualifications and Experience
* HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
* Minimum of one year's post-qualification experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people
* Strong understanding of differential diagnosis within neurodevelopmental presentations
* In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD
* Training and experience using recognised diagnostic tools (e.g. ADOS-2, ADI-R)
* Excellent time management and caseload organisation skills
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* Highly developed written skills for producing clear, high-quality clinical reports
* Strong communication skills with children, young people, and their families
* Eligibility to work in the UK
