Role Summary
Our Client is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team due to strategic growth and evolving regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing the overall quality standards within the organisation, making a significant impact on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
* Perform AS9100 audits and ensure compliance with industry standards
* Develop and implement Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA)
* Lead and support 8D investigations and resolutions
Essential Skills & Experience
* Degree in Engineering or related field
* Extensive experience in quality engineering within the aviation industry
* Proficiency in AS9100 standards and quality management systems
* Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Six Sigma certification
* Experience with ECRs (Engineering Change Requests)
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
