Join to apply for the TOPSHOP/ TOPMAN - Head of Global Trade role at Votre Sommelier
We are seeking a digitally focused Commercial operator to optimise the TOPSHOP & TOPMAN trading approach globally as the brands enter their next phase of growth. The role will build the brands trading calendar for core geographies, assessing the competitive backdrop and market idiosyncrasies and designing and implementing commercial actions to communicate our product and brand messages and increase full price sales.
The role is based in our London HQ, reports directly to the Managing Director, TOPSHOP & TOPMAN, and works closely with the TSTM Product, Marketing, and Performance & Insights teams.
You Will
1. Be responsible for the global trading operation of the Topshop and Topman brands across offline and online channels including Topshop.com and ASOS.com.
2. Work closely with TSTM Performance & Insights team to develop and monitor customer KPIs, sales, and profit contributions.
3. Combine a fashion and brand-driven mindset with a data-obsessed approach to define and analyse our global trading strategy.
4. Adapt onsite navigation and content according to customer behaviour and seasonality to optimise the customer experience and drive full-price sell-through.
5. Collaborate with Customer & Marketing team to maximise ROI of marketing activities.
6. Determine and implement regional merchandising, pricing, and promotional strategies.
7. Provide input on local market preferences into the category planning and buying process.
8. Monitor and benchmark performance across all customer touchpoints and identify opportunities for improvement.
9. Be a strong coach and manager, demonstrating exceptional cross-functional leadership and influencing skills.
TOPSHOP and TOPMAN are iconic British fashion brands with 60 years of heritage. Headquartered in London, the brands have over 2 million customers globally through the ASOS platform and generate approximately £200m in sales. Following a Joint Venture between ASOS and HEARTLAND in October 2024, ASOS is creating a dedicated, standalone cross-functional team to unlock the growth potential of TOPSHOP and TOPMAN. The brands will benefit from ASOS infrastructure and resources while maintaining creative freedom and agility.
In the next 12 months, TOPSHOP and TOPMAN will expand their offline and online retail presence, including launching Topshop.com and new wholesale partnerships.

4. Proven international e-commerce experience in a customer-focused, commercial leadership role. Preference for fashion brand experience.
5. Deep knowledge of trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
6. Proven ability to drive operational execution as a hands-on commercial operator.
7. Experience in leading and developing teams, providing inspirational leadership and coaching.
8. Exceptional communication skills, capable of producing and presenting concise, informative presentations for senior management.
9. Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
10. A fast thinker, proactive in achieving stretch goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
