Your Role as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant in Hertfordshire, you will: Provide consistent one-to-one support for a child with Autism and ADHD within a mainstream classroom setting. Implement strategies to help the child stay engaged, focused, and able to access learning. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans and behaviour support. Foster positive relationships and promote social, emotional, and academic growth. Support the child in managing transitions, routines, and any challenges that may arise during the school day. What We're Looking For We are seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant in Hertfordshire who: Has previous experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, or other special educational needs (school-based experience preferred). Possesses patience, empathy, and resilience to provide consistent and calm support. Can build strong relationships with both the pupil and wider school staff. Has good communication skills to liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
