What you’ll do: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of essential technical competencies (new, amended, and decommissioned items). Validate role- and site-based competency assignments in the Learning Management System (LMS). Build and maintain Competency Dashboards (e.g. Power BI) to provide visibility on compliance performance, skills assignments and employee mandatory training requirements. Respond to internal and external compliance reporting requests, ensuring audit readiness and accuracy. Collect data, monitor and prepare reports on training compliance and efficiency. Liaise with key stakeholders regarding forecasting, budgeting and actuals related to technical training activities. Liaise with key stakeholders regarding competency requirements in alignment with the WaterNSW Competency Management Framework and operational requirements. Ensure alignment with ISO and RTO Standards where appropriate to support best practice and traceability. What we are looking for: Degree or Certificate IV in WHS, Learning and Development, or similar field. Good understanding of competency frameworks, compliance standards (incl. ISO45001), and vocational education standards. Working knowledge of LMS, HRIS, and enterprise reporting tools. Experience in managing technical competency frameworks in a regulated industry. Demonstrated ability to develop governance processes and ensure compliance. Experience managing data integrity, reporting and dashboards (e.g. Power BI). Strong stakeholder communication skills across technical, safety, and leadership roles.
