Overview

Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 FTE (pro-rated for part-time).

Hours: Flexible - part-time or full-time (at least 20 hours per week).

FluoRok is a dynamic, VC-backed start-up transforming the future of fluorochemicals. Founded in 2022 as a spin-out from the University of Oxford, we develop safer, more sustainable, and cost-effective solutions for essential fluorochemicals which are critical materials for energy storage, global sustainability, health and food supplies.

FluoRok is entering an exciting new phase of growth, and we\'re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and administratively minded individual to join in what will be an important role supporting the smooth running of the business and contributing to a collaborative, fast-growing team.

This role is office-based at ARC Oxford, one of the UK\'s leading innovation campuses, where we operate across a cutting-edge R&D facility and a newly launched pilot plant.


Key Responsibilities


Finance & Compliance Support

* Support finance administration and help maintain accurate company records
* Bookkeeping tasks such as posting invoices and assisting with bank reconciliation
* Help maintain contract and documentation records
* Assist with gathering supporting information for grant reporting and claims


Executive & Administrative Support

* Provide day-to-day administrative support to help the team stay organised
* Assist with diary scheduling and meeting coordination
* Coordinate company travel arrangements
* Help organise documents and maintain electronic filing systems
* Provide general administrative support across the business


Additional Responsibilities (depending On Hours And Candidate)

For candidates working full-time, or as the role develops, there may also be opportunities to support additional areas of the business.


Commercial & Customer Support

* Maintain sales and customer records
* Assist with commercial reporting and customer information tracking


Marketing & Communications

* Managing social media accounts
* Developing marketing materials


Project Support

* Help coordinate project meetings and prepare materials
* Track actions and provide general administrative support to project leads


Requirements

We\'re looking for someone who:

* Is highly organised, reliable and detail-oriented
* Learns quickly and enjoys understanding how different parts of a business work
* Is interested in working in an innovation-focused environment
* Has excellent written and spoken English
* Is proactive, adaptable and happy to take on varied tasks
* Has good basic IT skills
* Works well with others and has a positive, professional attitude
* Has the right to work in the UK


Desirable

* Prior experience with finance and admin tasks
* Familiarity with social media platforms
