Fundraising and Events Manager
Norfolk and Waveney Mind is looking for an energetic and results‑driven leader to develop and deliver a dynamic fundraising and events programme that maximises income, engages supporters and partners, and supports the charity’s mission.
About the Role
• Salary: £34,067 per annum
• Hours: Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends for events
• Location: Sale Road, Norwich (travel required across Norfolk)
• Drive: Must hold a valid UK driving licence, own a vehicle with business insurance, and be able to drive a hire van for event transport (mileage reimbursed at 45p/mile for business travel).
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning and delivery of fundraising campaigns and events that generate income and build community engagement.
* Develop innovative fundraising strategies, diversify income streams, and set ambitious targets.
* Manage and inspire a high‑performing team, fostering creativity and professional growth.
* Ensure all activities comply with fundraising regulations and charity best practice.
* Provide accurate financial reporting and regular updates to the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in fundraising and events management within a charitable environment.
* Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Result‑driven mindset, with a track record of achieving income targets.
* Crisis‑aware and safeguarding knowledge – a satisfactory DBS check is required.
