Overview
Your role will be integral in making this step change happen. You will need to be comfortable with working at pace, building excellent relationships both internally and externally, as well as across functions. You\'ll be able to demonstrate great commercial skills, and work with agility to deliver the best opportunities for Boots. Supporting the Category Manager with scouting trending brands and launching them at pace and with impact. You will also be comfortable with multi-tasking, working on multiple categories at once, whether that\'s skincare, haircare, cosmetics or wellness to name a few, all operate in your own unique ways but our job is to drive pace whilst still achieving impactful execution. Relationship building is the key to our team success. Reporting to the Category Manager, the ACM will be an incredibly important member of the ever-growing Commercial Trends team. You\'ll be ready to roll your sleeves up and build on the success of the programme since its launch and having a great time doing so.
Responsibilities
* Have a passion for the industry
* Be a critical part of the delivery of the category plans
* Build great relationships with our supplier partners to create the best possible launch plans
* Be comfortable with ambiguity and willing to \"lean in\" to support the wider team
* Comfortable with challenging the status quo and working outside of processes
* Have strong negotiation skills to achieve the most impactful brand plans
* Build great relationships internally and externally, using those relationships to make the most of every opportunity
* Have good commercial awareness with an understanding of customer needs and motivations
* Have a passion for Health and Beauty trends
* Previous experience in trading with strong negotiation skills is a plus
