DUTIES Your duties as the Lecturer in Digital and Business Transformation include: • Deliver Teaching Sessions: Provide lectures, seminars, tutorials, workshops and assessment activities across relevant subject areas • Develop Curriculum Content: Support and lead the development of Digital and Business Transformation and AI for Business modules • Support Student Learning: Provide academic guidance, pastoral support and supervision for undergraduate and postgraduate students • Supervise Projects: Oversee student research projects and applied academic work • Maintain Subject Expertise: Keep knowledge current in AI strategy, digital transformation and organisational change • Contribute to Research Activities: Participate in research, publications, conference presentations and externally funded projects • Undertake Administrative Duties: Support timetabling, student selection, attendance monitoring and examination processes • Build External Partnerships: Develop collaborative links with industry, public-sector and charitable organisations • Promote Courses and Programmes: Assist with student recruitment and marketing activities locally, nationally and internationally • Participate in Staff Development: Engage in continuous professional development and consultancy opportunities CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL • Hold a first degree and/or postgraduate qualification in a related subject area • Strong understanding of Digital and Business Transformation and AI for business • Experience within academic teaching, research or professional practice in related areas • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accurately to a range of audiences • Ability to establish collaborative links with academic, business and public-sector partners • Able to provide guidance, mentoring and learning support to students • Experience gathering, analysing and presenting information and findings effectively DESIRABLE • A PhD in a related subject area would be advantageous • Previous experience in AI strategy, organisational change or digital transformation projects • Experience developing innovative teaching materials and learning approaches • Experience building internal and external professional networks • Ability to adapt and improve services to meet stakeholder expectations BENEFITS • Salary between £39,906 and £56,535 per annum, dependent on experience • Generous pension scheme • 46 days annual leave including public holidays • Hybrid working with partial home working available • Access to on-site nursery and sports centre • Relocation package available • Modern campus environment with excellent facilities • Voluntary health and travel benefit schemes • Supportive and inclusive working environment This role requires a Disclosure Scotland Check APPLY TODAY… By submitting your job application to us you are hereby giving us your express consent to submit your details to our Client for this purpose.
