Education, Research & Innovation Lead Pharmacist

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our progressive and forward‑thinking Pharmacy Department as the Education, Research & Innovation Lead Pharmacist.

We are looking for an experienced, ambitious and dynamic individual to lead and shape the Education and Training department within pharmacy here at the Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will also work alongside the Department Head of Pharmacy Digital Improvement & Innovation to deliver new ways of working using digital and informatics
technologies to transform patient care.
A key focus of the role will be supporting the department to achieve its full potential in embracing a research driven culture working in collaboration with a range of stakeholders to innovate and deliver patient‑cantered care.

Job responsibilities
This role will be extremely rewarding and requires a highly motivated individual who is experienced in working at a strategic level with a range of stakeholders and a track record for service development and delivering to agreed targets.
Person Specification
* UK registered pharmacist with extensive post‑registration experience in relevant sectors in UK, and with no restrictions placed upon them by the GPhC
* Leading change through empowering people and holding them to account.
* Experience of developing policies, guidelines and business plans.
* Supplementary or independent prescriber
