Commercial and NHS Contracts Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Commercial and Business Delivery team within DSFS. Working closely with finance, the role is responsible for the day-to-day healthcare contracting process for the Trust with a number of stakeholders, maintaining circa £350m worth of contracts congruent to meeting the Trust Strategy.
We are a small team that is committed to the ongoing development of our team members, and ensuring that we can provide cross cover for roles within the structure. This post will be key in ensuring that this is the case in relation to contracting.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, able to work under pressure and with conflicting priorities, and who can build strong relationships with various stakeholders. The working hours for the role are 30 hours a week (open to a discussion about how these hours are spread throughout the week).

Main duties of the job
You need to be actively aware of the environment in which the Trust operates, with particular emphasis on the requirements of the planning process and current contracting guidance ensuring transformation and service developments are underpinned with robust contract management.
You will need to establish and maintain effective relationships with Trust Clinical Divisions, Information and Finance, ensuring that any service developments, contractual obligations and agreed activities are fully and accurately represented in the Contracts.
The postholder will provide the role of co‑ordinator and contact with the third party ensuring that contracts are in place and that any contract queries raised throughout the year are co‑ordinated and responded to by the Trust.
