JT Recruit are working in partnership with a local Authority in Derby who are looking to appoint a temporary call handler / responder to join the team. The team is a 24-hour emergency TSA accredited monitoring and response service ensuring that vulnerable people have access to support at the end of the phone or at the touch of a button whenever they need it. You will provide professional call handling services and an appropriate level of assistance to all of its customers that have telecare alarms installed in their own homes. This service supports people who wish to remain living independently for as long as they can. It also brings reassurance to users by ensuring safety within the home. Customers activate a support call at any time 24/7 via the alarm unit installed in their own home and or the sensors attached to it. The Call Handler Responders will then discuss and assess the nature of the emergency and will action an appropriate response. Responding themselves if required. In the case of a serious emergency, the emergency services will also be contacted.
