JOB- Project Engineer
LOCATION- Warrington
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £35,000 - £40,000 (Dependant on experience)
My client is a manufacturer in the Industrial and Manufacturing sector. They are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join their team in Warrington on a permanent basis.
This is a hands-on Project Engineer role supporting the Director on complex, industrial projects — ideal for someone 3+ years into their career who enjoys ownership, structure, and working in a manufacturing-led environment
The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* HND/ Degree qualified in Engineering / Project Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
* 3 or more years’ experience in Project Engineering from working in a similar role or environment
* Experienced working in a highly regulated industry
* Proficient with using MS Office
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Flexible to travel as part of the role as required
* Engaged, enthusiastic and proactive with a systematic approach to work
* Able to work well alone as well as in a team
The Project Engineer role will involve:
* As a hands-on Project Engineer you will be taking designs and implementing them
* Technical assessment, analysis and review of full lifecycle projects
* Managing multiple projects at once
* Managing budgets, timelines and documentation
* Scheduling, cost and quality control
* Line managing direct reports
* Communicating with customers to ensure specifications are met
* Supporting the Director
* Involved in purchasing for projects and chasing suppliers as and when required
* Preparing the required project related documentation & drawings
