Brook Street are currently recruiting for an Application Processor within the NHS BSA\n\nWe have a fantastic new job opportunity that has arisen working for the NHS! If you are looking for an exciting new job opportunity then look no further.\n\nYou will be working amongst a brilliant team within the NHS who will support you and help you strive within the business.\n\nThis role is full time and based from Newcastle offices in an accessible location right in Newcastle city centre.\n\nStart date - 7th July\n\nJob purpose:\n\nResponsible for processing and input of patient's details onto computerised systems for applications/payment for a number of different NHS services. Also responsible for making refund payments, checking patient exemption and entitlement and contacting customers to address queries or to gather further information.\nAll work should be processed quickly, accurately and fairly, complying with agreed procedures and technical instructions.\n\nIn this role, you are accountable for:\n\n1.
To process various different applications, entering all relevant details onto computer systems.\n2. To process payments using different computer systems.\n3. To verify patient exemption using different computer systems.\n4.
To determine whether all required information for processing of applications is available, taking appropriate action to obtain any further necessary details, either from the customer or from the relevant doctor's surgeries, pharmacists or other medical professionals.\n\nWhat is on offer?\n\nHourly rate - £12.51ph\n\nOffice location - 152 Pilgrim St, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 6SN (Fully onsite role)\n\nThe contract is for 37.5 hours a week, based on a Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am to 6pm.\n\nAmazing NHS Benefits / perks and discounts also included!\n\nRequirements:\n\nRelevant identification documents and the last 3 years of references will need to be provided as soon as an offer is made, so this can be taken forward as quickly as possible.\n\nRelevant experience that includes Administration / data entry / office based roles is preferable.\n\nMust be able to travel to Newcastle City centre.\n\nIf you feel the above is for you, please apply in the usual way.\n\nDue to the high volume of candidates responding to our adverts we are not always able to provide feedback on your application.
