Actisure is an extensive platform consisting of Core back-office automation, Open API and integration suite and Digital solutions serving customers and all parties in the insurance value chain.

We're looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join our fantastic team!

What you're looking for?

Joining our friendly, team of 6 Application Support Analysts you'll deliver first class support to a worldwide customer base using our award-winning product and be responsible for:

1. Triaging Incidents logged within the Service Desk system
2. Investigating and resolving all types of application support issues/requests
3. Working directly with client representatives to progress issues/requests
4. Collaborating with colleagues to progress issues/requests and further understanding
5. Following the Cegedim Service Call Management Process
6. Contributing to the company knowledgebase with FAQs, ‘How to..’ and technical articles
7. Writing SQL scripts for data correction
8. Escalating issues to development for further in-depth analysis
9. Liaising with different teams for progressing issues through to resolution
10. Assisting with the download of databases from clients and their restore locally
11. Cloud hosted application support activities

The team strives to be non-hierarchical with a friendly can-do culture encouraging a proactive approach where every Analyst takes ownership of their ticket/s until resolution and closure.

Profile

Who we're looking for?

Someone with 2 years + experience in a similar role, good technical ability, a friendly and confident personality, a "can-do" attitude and a naturally inherent customer centric mind-set and approach. Ideally with prior application support experience within the commercial software development industry.

13. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

15. Really good customer service skills
16. Ability to effectively prioritise work
17. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning
18. Good documentation skills

It would be great if you had experience within the medical insurance sector and knowledge of supporting insurance, financial or accounting systems but this isn't essential.

Office location and useful info

Our International Division strives to be a non-hierarchical company, with a friendly, can-do culture where challenging work and talent is recognised and rewarded. We employ c.80 employees mostly based out of our office in Bristol, along with some consultants working in locations around the world from home or on client sites. We have recently moved into a brand new office within the Programme building at The Pithay in central Bristol. The office space has been designed and fitted out specifically to our requirements to ensure a highly functional, flexible and comfortable working environment, whether hot-desking, having stand-ups, or more formal/confidential meetings. There’s an NCP car park at the rear of the block and there’s great access to public transport routes with bus stops within a few steps of the building, the train station; Bristol Temple Meads is approx. 10-15 walk. There’s also secure bike storage and excellent showers to freshen up after a bike ride, gym class or run. We’re close to lots of restaurants, coffee shops, gyms and shops as well as being just a short walk from the Castle Park and Harbourside areas. We are a friendly team, with regular social lunch or after-work activities as well as work-related events; town halls or conferences, both in person and online. We have a smart casual dress code.
