As a Business Development Team Leader, you’ll take the lead in building, coaching, and inspiring a high-performing team of phone-based new business sales executives. You won’t just manage performance — you’ll elevate it, creating an environment where your team is motivated, supported, and consistently exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities
* Assign and manage campaign data to the team
* Conduct tests to boost conversion rates and implement actionable insights
* Monitor sales, analyse key metrics like conversion by person / channel and deliver regular performance reports to the SafeWorkforce Managing Director.
* Provide training, call auditing and coaching support to improve sales performance and seek the support of the L&S team where specific training needs are required.
* Ensure adherence to our prospect contact strategy and associated CRM processes
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience, ideally within a phone-based new business sales environment and a strong understanding of sales processes.
Strong ability to set and manage targets and KPIs, and use effective coaching techniques to improve both individual and team results.
Clear experience in balancing performance management with development, delivering regular 1:1s, clear feedback and hands‑on coaching in key areas such as negotiation and objection handling.
