The Role
Reports to: Biometric Operations Lead
Location: London, UK (Hybrid - at least once a week)
Compensation: £40k-£45k (Base) + 10% Company Performance Bonus + Equity + Wider iProov Benefits
iProov has continued to scale rapidly this year and is hiring a Biometric Operations Analyst to join our Science team.
How you can make an impact
* Optimize the biometric platform by understanding the impact of configuration and model changes, identifying under-performing models, and working with product teams to prioritize impactful work.
* Facilitate deployment of new biometric systems/models by collaborating with model engineers, evaluating systems, understanding deployment impacts, optimizing configurations, and tracking performance.
* Design and utilize analysis and diagnostic tools by working with the Data Team, communicating trends, tuning alerting systems, contributing to internal tooling, and addressing bias within the platform.
* Assist support teams in investigating customer concerns by understanding the biometric platform, managing tickets, and analyzing performance issues.
* Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to mitigate risks associated with front-end changes through data analysis and providing guidance.
What we would like to see from you
* Experience with BigQuery, handling large data sets, and query optimization.
* Understanding of complex systems and component interactions.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with both technical and non-technical teams.
* Problem-solving skills, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
