Area Manager - Early Years

Working: Monday - Friday - 40+ hours working over 4 days
At The Lime Trees, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Area Manager to oversee our Breakfast and After School Clubs across multiple sites in Nottinghamshire Area
About the Role
The Area Manager will play a vital role in ensuring all extended provision settings run smoothly, meet the highest standards of care, and align with The Lime Trees' values. This includes managing systems, supporting staff, building strong school and community partnerships, and continuously improving the quality of our services.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight:
* Ensure all sites operate effectively and in accordance with policies and procedures
* Monitor site performance and support staff in delivering safe, engaging, and inclusive environments
* Troubleshoot issues and ensure systems used during extended hours are functional, secure, and meet the needs of both staff and children
Partnership Development:
* Establish and maintain relationships with schools, charities, local authorities, and community groups
* Act as the primary point of contact for all external partners
* Organise collaborative programs such as after-school initiatives and holiday clubs
* Promote partnerships through newsletters, social media, websites, and other platforms
Communication & Engagement:
* Maintain clear, open lines of communication between schools, staff, parents, and external stakeholders
* Gather feedback from children, families, and partners to evaluate service effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
Strategic Planning:
* Develop and implement long-term strategies to ensure the sustainability and growth of partnership programs
* Ensure all partnerships align with The Lime Trees' mission, promoting inclusivity, diversity, and children's well-being
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience overseeing multi-site childcare or educational provision
* Sound knowledge of teaching, learning, and safeguarding practices
* Strong organisational, administrative, and interpersonal skills
* Confident using a range of IT systems and digital tools
* A clear understanding of Safer Recruitment principles
* Excellent team-working and communication abilities in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to travel to sites across Sheffield and Rotherham — own transport is essential
* Flexibility to occasionally attend meetings at our Head Office in Nottingham
