Description Position at Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems (Europe) Ltd Internal Vacancy JOB TITLE: Deputy Sales Account Manager JOB GRADE: Management LOCATION: SEWS-E Milton Keynes, UK REPORTING TO: Sales & Engineering Manager MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION: Support the Sales Account Manager in building cross-functional relationships to meet and exceed Nissan Europe expectations and secure new business.. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage customer requests, including cost breakdowns, price tracking, design/model changes, and technical (VA/VE) quotations. Take responsibility for customer sales activities, including preparing technically and commercially coherent quotations, setting pricing, and acting as the interface with plant(s) on customer-related matters such as quality requirements, productivity improvements, supply issues, and other customer expectations. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer influencers to maximize emerging opportunities and serve as the primary liaison/contact for customer purchasing stakeholders. Coordinate communication via Sumitomo Japan with Nissa n Japan and Nissan Europe to ensure requirements are understood and cascaded across SEI (Sumitomo Japan) and SEWS-E. Lead a small team handling external and internal sales queries and requests. Ensure all tracking are up to date Participate to the project and commercial reviews Participates to the update of the sales database maintained by the commercial co-ordinator ANY SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Maintain a high degree of flexibility to travel within the UK and overseas to support meetings, reviews, and activit ies at SEWS-E and customer sites as required. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Automotive experience (preferably Nissan) desirable but not essential. Basic knowledge of wiring harnesses and pricing measures desirable but not essential. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, SUMIFS, etc.) Effective communicator at all levels with significant customer liaison/contact. Proven ability to analyse complex data and perform effective root-cause analysis. Strong written and verbal English communicatio n skills. Full valid UK driving licence.
