The post holder will be responsible for a varied portfolio and will assist with the growth of the firm’s Commercial Property and Asset Management team across the southern region. Main tasks:
Main responsibilities of the role will include:
1. Assisting with management of the Oxford Office Commercial Property & Asset Management team
2. Liaison with commercial client accounting to help deliver a first-class client service
3. Collection of rents and other monies due, including chasing of arrears
4. Preparation of service charge budgets and issue of certificates and additional invoices following service charge reconciliation.
5. Administration of property insurance including apportionment of premiums, raising and issue of invoices
6. Maintaining property inspection schedules, arranging annual and other inspections as necessary
7. Assisting with annual, monthly and other inspections
8. Dealing with rent reviews and lease renewals.
9. Identifying and implementing asset management opportunities
10. Liaising with clients, tenants and contractors.
11. Providing accurate, timely client reports.
12. Organising repair and maintenance work, including liaising with tenants and contractors, arranging access and checking that works are completed
13. Contributing to the management and development of junior team members working within the team
What will it take to be successful?
We are seeking an experienced Chartered Surveyor with significant post qualification experience and good working knowledge of all relevant legislature including L&T Act 1954, L&T Cov. Act 1995. Ideally you are ambitious and keen to develop your career in line with the business and actively seek out continuous self-development, broadening your knowledge and experience. You’ll will have strong client management and communication skills and will have the ability to drive business initiatives forward in a confident and personable manner. The role involves frequent travel so a valid driving license is required.
