Head of Bid Writing

The Role:
This role leads the quality and consistency of written submissions across key public sector markets, including Employment, Justice, Health and Business Support. You will produce high-quality responses, oversee storyboarding and reviews, and guide colleagues to deliver clear, compliant and competitive bids. Significant experience managing and writing bids in these sectors is essential.
Duties:
1. Produce high-quality written responses and coordinate contributions to deliver winning bids.
2. Lead and support submissions across Employment, Justice, Health and Business Support.
3. Oversee and sign off storyboards, drafts and final responses.
4. Manage and challenge content to improve quality and scoring potential.
5. Provide oversight on strategically important bids through all stages.
6. Coordinate project teams to deliver timely, high-standard submissions.
7. Act as a review and sign-off point for accuracy, structure and compliance.
8. Lead or support frameworks, EOIs, PSQs and ITTs, including research and drafting.
9. Work with colleagues to shape innovative and competitive written responses.
