Salary: £34,403 to 40,570 per annum The Development Operations Officer is a key member of the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO) and is responsible for managing and maintaining the DARS (Development and Alumni Relations System) database, which underpins all DARO activities. This includes overseeing data processes, imports, exports, and supporting other Development and Alumni Office projects and tasks. The successful candidate will also proactively identify new prospects by researching alumni, interrogating the DARS database, and employing other prospect identification techniques. They will manage the stewardship reporting cycle for key donors and support the Regular Giving Manager in their activities, including gift processing and reporting. The appointee will be proficient in the use of databases and experienced in GDPR administration. A flexible and adaptable attitude is essential, as some out-of-hours work and travel within the UK and abroad may occasionally be required. The role requires excellent interpersonal, organisational, and planning skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make decisions when needed. Experience in prospect research within a charity or higher education environment is desirable.
