Role: Health and Safety Officer Location: Merseyside Type: Temporary rate: £25 - £30 per hour Eden Brown are seeking an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Officer to join a Facilities and Estates team on a temporary basis. This key role supports the College in maintaining a safe and compliant learning and working environment for staff, students, and visitors. You'll play a central part in delivering effective health and safety audits, technical support, and compliance monitoring across all college campuses and departments. * Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with the College's Health and Safety policies. * Provide technical support and advice on health and safety legislation, codes of practice, and sector best practice. * Monitor and maintain accurate records in line with statutory and regulatory requirements, including accident, incident, and near miss reporting. * Assist in the development, implementation, and tracking of Health and Safety policies, procedures, and improvement action plans. * Carry out departmental inspections across a range of settings including classrooms, workshops, offices, and communal spaces. * Support academic divisions with student risk assessments and Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs). * Coordinate the College's first aid and fire warden provision. * Prepare clear, timely management reports to support College-...
