Your new role As the Survey Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing survey teams, ensuring zero harm, and overseeing the delivery of sustainability activities on the Sizewell C project. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality survey processes, carrying out survey quality assurance, and effectively communicating with stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on safety and sustainability, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams. The position is site-based and offers a competitive salary, along with a company car or car allowance. Responsibilities: Lead and manage survey teams, ensuring safe and efficient survey operations on the Sizewell C project. Implement and promote a zero-harm culture, prioritising safety at all times. Oversee the delivery of sustainability activities, aligning with project objectives and regulatory requirements. Carry out survey quality assurance, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to project specifications. Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to coordinate survey activities effectively. Provide technical guidance and support to survey teams, ensuring high-quality surveying practices. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies. Ensure effective communication between survey teams and other project stakeholders. Monitor and report on survey progress, budgets, and resources, providing regular updates to project management. Implement and enforce relevant industry standards, codes, and best practices. Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in surveying and construction industries. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices across the organisation. What you\'ll need to succeed Membership of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CinstCES) or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is essential. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is necessary. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear and concise interaction with stakeholders. A relevant degree or equivalent industry recognised qualification in surveying or a related field is required. CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is essential. Proven experience in a survey management role, preferably within the construction industry. Strong leadership abilities with the capability to manage and motivate survey teams effectively. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software. A commitment to safety, sustainability, and quality in all aspects of surveying operations. Full UK driving licence.
