We are seeking a highly motivated and results-orientedTransport Plannerto join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods across our network.
Shift pattern:
We have 3 shifts available (05.00 to 15.00, 08.00 to 18.00 & 10.00 to 20.00) and would be looking for the right candidate to be flexible in working all 3, when required.
What you'll be doing:
1. Route Planning:Design efficient delivery routes considering distance, traffic, and deadlines.
2. Driver Management:Manage and support drivers on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations.
3. Load Coordination:Ensure proper load distribution and vehicle capacity with warehouse staff.
4. Fleet Management:Oversee vehicle maintenance and utilisation.
5. Delivery Monitoring:Track progress and provide updates to customers.
