Join to apply for the Male Support Worker role at Autism Unlimited.
This role is based in Poole with time at our supported living service in Southbourne. The position is only suitable for males due to the needs of the person we support. A clean Full UK driving licence is required, although access to your own vehicle is not essential. Autism Unlimited does not provide visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
* Support Tim, a person living in his own home in Poole, with daily routines and activities to build confidence and independence.
* Assist with daily tasks at home (food preparation, shopping, personal care) and accompany him to community activities and interests.
* Support Tim during Futures provision three days per week to learn key skills for adulthood and continue this support at home.
* Provide engaging activities, such as cinema visits, watching YouTube or Marvel films, board games, and karaoke; tailor activities to interests.
* Assist with administering medication as needed to support wellbeing.
* Cooperate with the broader supported living model where the weekly plan is discussed at interview and adapted to needs.
Hours
This role involves a mixture of shifts between 7am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday. It includes alternate weekends and sleep-ins (sleep-ins come with additional payment).

Requirements
