Job Description We’re seeking a Senior Broadcast Engineer to join a fast-moving broadcast technology team based in London. This role would be an ideal match for someone with a strong background in live production and a passion for cloud and IP broadcast solutions. What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you’ll combine your hands-on technical expertise with a confident, proactive approach. Every day brings something new — from troubleshooting complex live broadcast issues to delivering next-generation production solutions. You’ll take on responsibilities such as: Acting as a technical leader for on-prem broadcast systems Providing 2nd level and occasional 1st level support, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime. Managing and overseeing maintenance plans for broadcast infrastructure. Playing a key role in broadcast technology projects, from design and implementation to support and documentation. Ensuring compliance with business continuity, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity standards. Driving best practice, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team. Supporting the team in critical decision-making, root cause analysis, and fault resolution. About You 3 years in a senior broadcast engineering role, ideally with project delivery experience. Solid background in IP broadcast systems and networking, software and servers (virtual and physical) Knowledge of cybersecurity and resilience in broadcast implementations Proficiency in creating documentation for broadcast systems and processes Excellent collaboration skills with stakeholders and technology partners Experience in project design, implementation, and providing technical solutions Strong decision-making skills in critical situations minimizing downtime and creative problem solving Experience with cloud platforms Experience across streaming protocols (SRT, HLS, NDI) and SMPTE 2110 standards.
