We are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, based at Knockbracken Foods, Saintfield Road. This is a full-time role, working 5 days out of 7 between 6:30am and 3:30pm. The position is initially temporary for 3 months, with the potential for extension depending on performance. The hourly rate is £12.51 Monday to Friday with overtime paid at £18.77 per hour. Saturday Rate £17.64 Sunday Rate £22.90 Key Responsibilities: Washing dishes, pots, and pans. Cleaning and sanitising work surfaces and kitchen equipment. Assembling and packing food for service and distribution to canteens. Carrying out stock rotation. Disposing of food waste appropriately. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene at all times. This role would suit someone reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced catering environment.
