Overview
Job title: Registered Nurse (Nights). Location: Bupa Druid Stoke Care Home - 31 Druid Stoke Avenue Bristol BS9 1DES. Salary: £19.05 - £21.01 per hour. Contract: 4x 12-hour night shifts per week (48 hours). Flexibility with days & nights. Paid breaks & £1,000 welcome bonus. We make health happen by supporting residents to live their best lives. Responsibilities
* Taking responsibility for the well-being of residents and ensuring physical, emotional and social needs are met.
* Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
* Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for residents.
* Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with relevant standards, policies and legislation.
* As a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin, managing the unit alongside clinical duties in the home, including oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, reviewing and evaluating care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team.
* Maintaining high clinical standards by ensuring policies and standards are followed.
* Offering clinical guidance for care teams and supporting all CQC tasks.
* Building connections with residents and their families, providing kindness, support and high-quality care.
* Demonstrating effective communication and reporting to hand over clinical issues to other team members and health care professionals.
* Working nights requires enhanced skills to ensure patient safety, often with limited on-site support; you should be confident, self-reliant and able to manage care staff while remaining calm in emergencies.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
* Experience in upholding policies and standards to a high clinical standard.
* Ability to provide clinical guidance for care teams and support CQC tasks.
