Concrete Preservation Technologies Limited (CPT) is expanding its Surveys Division and is seeking experienced and motivated Survey Technicians to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with previous surveying experience who are confident in their technical ability and capable of leading on-site survey teams.
The Role
As a Survey Technician, you will:
* Inspect and survey buildings and infrastructure using a range of proven and innovative techniques
* Undertake on-site material testing and inspections across a variety of structures
* Lead and coordinate on-site survey teams, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
* Provide guidance and support to junior team members, contributing to their development
* Record, analyse, and report technical data with clarity and accuracy
* Maintain and operate survey and testing equipment efficiently
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety requirements
* Contribute to diverse projects across the UK, protecting and extending the life of key infrastructure

What We’re Looking For
· Previous experience of surveying buildings or infrastructure (essential)
· Proven ability to lead or supervise small teams on site
· A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
· Good communication and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Flexibility to adapt to varied working environments and schedules
· Willingness to travel across the UK, including periods away from home
· Resilience under pressure with a commitment to meeting deadlines
Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* CSCS card (essential)
* BS EN ISO 15257:2017 Level 2 or 3 qualification desirable, but not essential
* SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (desirable)
