A well‑established secondary school in Bury is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join the department on a long‑term, full‑time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator who can deliver high‑quality teaching across KS3 and KS4, contribute to a supportive department, and help maintain strong pupil progress throughout the academic year.
The Role
* Full‑time teaching timetable with responsibility for planning, delivering and assessing Science lessons.
* Teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the ability to specialise in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
* Supporting the department in raising attainment and engaging learners of all abilities.
* Participating in staff meetings, intervention sessions and wider school activities.
Requirements
* Must hold UK QTS specialising in Science.
* Strong subject knowledge and a track record of delivering effective lessons.
* Confident in behaviour management and able to build positive relationships with students.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a well‑resourced Science department.
