The role
As a Production Planner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to national security, develop your skills in a dynamic environment, and build a career with purpose.
* Analysing and interpreting work specifications to meet customer requirements
* Linking all elements of work to comply with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
* Processing emergent or additional work to keep projects on schedule
* Managing enablement risks and facilitating lookahead reviews
* Building strong relationships with clients and resolving technical requirements
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Essential Experience
* Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders
* Awareness of Project Management Tools and their application across the lifecycle
* Experience with Project Delivery Framework and Project Management principles
* Knowledge of project planning and lifecycle processes
* Proficiency in Planning, Estimating, Production Systems, and SAP (desirable)
Qualifications
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in engineering, project, or construction management (or equivalent experience)
* APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) – Desirable
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
