A well-respected environmental consultancy is looking for a passionate and commercially-minded leader to head up their Water Environment team.
With a reputation for pragmatic, sustainable solutions, they work closely with clients in the residential, renewables and utilities sectors – helping them navigate complex planning and environmental challenges. This is more than a technical leadership role.

Leading a growing team of water environment specialists, overseeing delivery, resourcing, and quality assurance.
Driving the commercial strategy – winning new work, building client relationships, and expanding into new markets.
Providing technical direction across flood risk, drainage and peatland hydrology projects, including those tied to DCOs and major planning applications.
Playing a central role in the senior management team, helping shape the culture and long-term success of the wider business.
Supporting your team’s professional development – mentoring, coaching, and helping them grow in line with their ambitions.
What we’re looking for:
Experience in flood risk, drainage and/or peatland hydrology.
Chartered status with a relevant professional body.
A solid track record of winning work and delivering policy-compliant water environment assessments.
Deep understanding of planning policy and regulation across England, Scotland and Wales.
