Chef de Partie needed for busy Café restaurant. Derbyshire commutable form Sheffield, Chesterfield, Matlock, and Bakewell areas £14.50-£15.50 per hour DOE Equates to £34-36,250 a year normal workings hours will be 8am -16.30 and 1 or 2 evenings a week in the summer months latest finish 9pm Working 45 hours a week Bank holiday rates paid. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef de partie who is looking for sociable hours. They are seeking a chef to work within a brigade of 5 within a busy food and beverage outlet and would thrive in a café restaurant environment. Your main role would be producing freshly made sandwiches, baguettes & Paninis etc You will also be involved in producing hot dishes and some baking. This is a varied role and never boring. Duties may also include taking food out to customers on busy days. This cafe restaurant serves an array of fresh meals and snacks form early morning until early evening. A very busy and popular destination for tourists and locals alike, they will often service over 300 covers a day. This venue also caters for conferences and functions for up to 50. The café also offers bistro nights during peak season so evening shifts will be required As chef de Partie you are expected to be well presented, friendly, enthusiastic and willing to give 100% and be a very hands on. As chef de Partie you will help produce all fresh food in house including baking cakes and scones etc As chef de Partie duties will also include running sections, stock control and ordering For this role the ideal chef will have kitchen experience within a very fast paced restaurant/café environment. Due to the location of the venue your own transport is essential. This venue is based in a popular Derbyshire Town and is also commutable from Chesterfield and Sheffield and surrounding areas.
